Contemporary Roofing

Tridek Contemporary Roofing Panel is a customized structural composite roofing panel designed as an alternative to standard roofing methods.
Available in straight, curved or wave (multi) curved panels they make a great feature for any structure, at the same time reducing the amount of structural roof framing and bracing normally required. Capable of spanning up to 10.300m unsupported, and load bearing.

Profiles: The tridek range can be produced in various profiles including:

Classic Series	Corrugated profile	5 degree plus roof pitch
Pro Series	5 rib profile	2 degree plus roof pitch
Smart Series	9 rib profile	2 degree plus roof pitch
Elite Series	4 rib profile	1 degree plus roof pitch

Panel thickness available from 75mm , 100mm, 125mm, 140mm, 165mm and 200mm.

Panel lengths / Cantilevers:

Tridek panels can be manufactured up to 16m in length, longer lengths by negotiation. The classic and Pro Series have a cover of 762mm, Smart Series 700mm cover and Elite Series has a 650mm cover.

Cantilevers can be achieved to a maximum length of 25% of the back span. E.g., 8.000m panel span, could cantilever 2.000m. It is recommended that you discuss with Tridek staff your proposed cantilever span.

In width the roof can have a maximum unsupported overhang of 300mm, greater distances are achievable with the use of properly engineered outriggers.

Fixings:

Each panel is fixed at every 2^nd rib with 14g, type 17 roofing screws, fitted with cyclone washers. The panels can be directly fixed to either a timber or steel structure. A minimum of 50mm MG10 pine for a timber structure and a maximum of 5mm for a steel structure are required.
